These 124CI hot set up kits allow Twin Cam owners to convert their stock engine to 124CI using the stock crankcase. This gives some main advantages like keeping your original serial numbers and you do not have to pay for a complete engine. Many of the stock engine parts are re-used like the crankcase, oil pump, cam cover, and tappets. Kits come with S&S 91cc cylinder heads and a compression ratio of 10.8:1. Your engine will still be easy to start thanks to the S&S Easy Start cams. Kits include 4 1/8" bore cylinders and pistons, 4 5/8" stroke flywheel assembly for Twin Cam A or B engines, a set of S&S 640 gear drive cams and all required hardware, gaskets and instructions. To complete these kits for carbureted bikes a Super G carburetor kit must be ordered separately. Fuel Injected models require the installation of a Fuel Injection Tuner such as the S&S VFI, Dynojet PowerVision, ThunderMax or TwinTec TCFI. Optionally you may also want to order an S&S tuned induction kit.
Note: S&S Twin Cam Flywheels are designed for use with dual tapered roller Timken bearings on the sprocket shaft. They will fit directly in OEM 1999-2002 Twin Cam crankcases. Installation on 2003 to present models requires the installation of ZPN751051 Jims Timken conversion sleeve and matching bearing. S&S will not honor any warranty claims relating to sprocket shaft bearing failures when S&S Twin Cam flywheels are used in 2003-2017 cases.
